For those concerned that they might be drinking more alcohol than usual or are finding it a struggle to keep the amount they drink under control during COVIDlockdown, Safer Cornwall would urge residents to download the free drinksmeter app to their phones.
“Try to reach out, in any way possible” is the advice from one Cornish resident to people across Cornwall for this year’s Mental Health Awareness Week.
Residents are urged to contact Cornwall Council for support with any equipment that helps them to live independently. They are also reminded to keep an eye on their vulnerable neighbours in case of any safeguarding concerns.
There is a range of support available for people in Cornwall who have decided that now is the time to give up smoking.
