As part of our on-going work on Cornwall and the Isles of Scilly Health and Care Partnership, local health and care leaders in Cornwall are working with health and care staff, those working in the community with the voluntary sector and local people who have had direct and recent experience of receiving care to co-produce proposals for new models of health and care for Cornwall and the Isles of Scilly.
This resulted in six Wave One co-production workshops being held across Cornwall in July 2017. The information we received at each workshop is reported separately below (easy read versions will be available soon) so that the Cornwall and the Isles of Scilly Health and Care Partnership team can consider the different health needs and challenges faced by different place based health and care communities.
Stakeholders on the Isles of Scilly agreed that a separate session organised by the Council of the Isles of Scilly, held in June 2017, to design integrated health and social care for people on the islands could be taken in lieu of conducting a separate Cornwall and the Isles of Scilly Health and Care Partnership workshop. The council’s report following this session is available here.
