Personalisation ambassador training

The NHS Long Term Plan formed in 2019 sets out a new NHS service model for the 21st century.
This will be achieved through 5 major, practical, changes over the next 5 years. 1 of which is:

“People will get more control over their own health and more personalised care when they need it.”

To deliver this will need a complete change of thinking for all those who are receiving, delivering or influencing care.

Personalised care

Personalised care represents a new relationship between people, professionals and the system. It happens when we make the most of the expertise, capacity and potential of people, families and communities.

Personalisation ambassadors: our vision

To deliver a truly personalised care vision we want to collect 1,000 stories of how personalisation has improved an individual’s health and wellbeing. To do this we want to recruiting 1,500 personalisation ambassadors who will be trained in getting the right consent and assisting people with telling their stories. These ambassadors will support individuals to tell their story.

If you would like to take up this amazing opportunity, we would like to invite you to attend specific personalisation training.

We have had some really encouraging feedback from our previous coaching conversation sessions. We are really looking forward to seeing you at the session.

Please complete the form below if you would like to attend. We will confirm your place on the training session and send a link for the online training (Microsoft Teams).

If you require more information before committing to the training, please email Deborah O’
